CONDITIONS OF USE
  • it is recommended to hold the electrode vertically to the part
  • surfacing should be performed with a very short arc and the lowest possible current to prevent mixing with the base metal when surfacing on large surfaces in one layer
  • surfacing is carried out with transverse oscillations of the electrode with an amplitude of 2-3 times the diameter of the core, if it is necessary to surfacing more than three layers, a buffer layer is applied
  • mechanical processing of surfacing metal - only by grinding
SPECIAL PROPERTIES
  • ensure the production of deposited metal with high wear resistance under the conditions of abrasion with abrasive materials
  • the deposited metal is prone to the formation of small cracks, which, as a rule, do not reduce the operational stability of the deposited parts.

    The hardness of the deposited metal is 58...62 HRC.

    Full annealing - 780...820 °C ~ 25 HRC.

    Forging after surfacing ~ 60...65 HRC.

    1 layer on high-manganese steel ~ 30 HRC.

    2nd layer on high-manganese steel ~ 45 HRC.

  • - surfacing coefficient: 0,15…0,19 g/A•min
  • - consumption of electrodes per 1 kg of deposited metal: 1,1…1,4 kg
