Welding electrodes Monolith RC

Terms of use
- intended for welding butt and corner joints of metal up to 20 mm thick in all spatial positions, except vertical from top to bottom for electrodes with a diameter of 4.0 – 5.0 mm
- insensitive to the quality of edge preparation, availability rust and other contamination of the surface of the welded material
vertical joints are welded from top to bottom (with a diameter of 2.0 – 3.2 mm) with a short arc or butt. - slag should not be allowed to flow in front of the arc
Special properties
- excellent welding and processing properties provide easy arc ignition and re-ignition, as well as smooth and stable arc burning, reduced metal spatter loss, uniform coating melting, excellent weld metal formation and easy slag separation
- excellent appearance and ease of operation in all positions.
Monolith RC electrodes are designed for manual direct or alternating current arc welding of ordinary and critical structures made of low-carbon steel grades such as DCOI, DC04,DD13, FeP01, FeP03, CIO, CIOE, 2C10, Cl 5E2C, 2Cl 5, etc.

Baking before welding
- The permissible moisture content in the coating before use does not exceed 0.9%
- In case of moisture in the electrode coating above the norm - dry for 60 minutes at 120±10 °C.
Welding modes
| Welding current, A for electrodes with a diameter, mm | |||||
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
