Зварювальний дріт з алюмінієвого сплаву Monolith ER 5356

AWS A5.10: ER5356
ISO 18273: S AL 5356 (ALMg5Cr(A))
CONDITIONS OF USE
  • Welding wire Er 5356 is used for any type of welding. When welding hardened rolled products, annealing occurs in the weld seam area, so the strength of the seam corresponds to the strength of the base material in the annealed state. In manual argon arc welding, non-fusible tungsten electrodes dried from moisture are used, as well as high-grade argon on alternating current. If the thickness of the welded metal is 5-6 mm, then electrodes with a diameter of 1.5-5 mm are used. An angle of about 85-90° must be maintained between the electrode and the filler wire. Reciprocating movements are used when applying the additive. Effective protection is achieved by optimal gas consumption. Metal with a thickness of up to 10 mm is welded from right to left: this method allows you to reduce overheating of the metal being welded
SPECIAL PROPERTIES
  • Alloys of the Al – Mg system are characterized by a combination of strength, good plasticity, weldability and corrosion resistance even in seawater. This alloy is the most common among aluminum-magnesium alloys.
Aluminum welding wire ER 5356 is widely used for argon arc TIG welding of profiles and metal structures from Al – Mg alloys with a magnesium content of up to 5%, such as ALMg3, ALMg4, ALMg5, ALMg6 with similar materials, on DC direct current. Welding wire ER 5356 is used for welding aluminum-magnesium-silicon alloys of 6XXX groups (EN AW 6060/6063, 6005, 6201 and similar to them, as well as for welding these alloys with alloys of 1XXX, 3XXX and 5XXX groups, if the specific proportion of filler material in weld more than 50%. It is also used for structures that are to be anodized in the future. This alloy has been widely used in shipbuilding and railway construction, in the welding of containers for storage and transportation of liquid and bulk products, vessels operating under pressure
