Terms of use
  • surfacing is performed with preliminary and (or) accompanying heating of at least 200 oC
  • surfacing should be carried out on a short arc with minimal participation of the base metal, in order to achieve maximum wear resistance on low-carbon steels, surfacing must be carried out in at least 2 layers
Special properties
  • high performance and stable droplet transfer of electrode metal
  • mechanical processing of annealed surfacing metal - milling, drilling, turning
  • deposition coefficient: 0.14 - 0.16 g/A·min
  • consumption of electrodes per 1 kg of deposited metal: 1.4 - 1.5 kg
Electrodes are designed for the deposition of strengthening layers operating in "metal-on-metal" friction conditions in combination with moderately high impact loads. Electrodes are used for welding of automotive and railway parts, couplings, axles, shafts, etc., are highly productive and have improved technological properties. They provide an alloyed martensitic weld metal with carbide and nitride hardening.

Surfacing should be carried out with a direct current of reversed polarity, “+” on the electrode, or with alternating current from a transformer with an idle voltage of 70±10 V.
