Welding electrodes Monolith М-316L

Terms of use
- applied when welding in all spatial positions, except vertical from top to bottom
- welding is recommended to be performed at the maximum possible speed without transverse oscillations of the electrode
Special properties
- high resistance to acids, as well as to general and intercrystalline corrosion at temperatures up to 400 °С
- characterized by high welding and technological properties, stable arc burning, easy slag removal, and good seam formation with smooth transition to the base metal
- surfacing coefficient: 0.17...0.20 g/A•min
- consumption of electrodes per 1 kg of deposited metal: 1.5...1, 6 kg
Electrodes of the Monolith M-316L brand are intended for welding corrosion-resistant austenitic Cr-Ni-Mo steels, type AISI 316, AISI 318, AISI 316L, 1.4435, X2CrNiMo17-12-3, X2CrNiMo18-14-3, 00Cr17Ni14Mo3, S31600, etc., for parts operating at temperatures temperature up to 400°С. Electrodes are suitable for welding cat- tanks, containers and equipment for used oils, for coke chemical installations, equipment working in contact with the sea water, parts of equipment in chemical, textile and cellulose paper industry, as well as production equipment wool and artificial silk.
