Welding electrodes HS-Fe6

EN 14700: E Z Fe6
Terms of use
  • the electrode is recommended to be held vertically to the part
  • surfacing should be performed with a very short arc and the lowest possible current to prevent mixing with the base metal
  • to achieve maximum hardness on low-carbon steels it is necessary to carry out surfacing in at least 3 layers
Special properties
  • the deposited metal can be fired at a temperature of 840...860°С, followed by quenching to a temperature of 950...1000°С, and cooling in lubricant or in air
  • mechanical processing of the deposited metal - only with an abrasive
  • resistance to abrasive wear is very good, resistance to shock loads and corrosion resistance is satisfactory, heat resistance is good
  • surfacing coefficient: 0.13 ... 0.17 g/A•min
  • consumption of electrodes per 1 kg of deposited metal: 1.4...1.6 kg
Electrodes T-590 Plasma are designed for surfacing strengthening materials layers operating under conditions of intense abrasive wear in combination with moderate shock loads. Electrodes are used for surfacing agricultural tools, that works in conditions of moderate humidity, woodworking tools, loading machines, mixers, etc.
